About The Pool

ALL lessons are held in my backyard pool located at
253 Windsong Echo Drive, Henderson, NV 89012.

I do not travel to other pools for lessons. Benefits of lessons in my pool are overwhelming.

  • Custom designed pool: I designed this pool specifically for swimming lessons. This larger than average sized pool is designed to accommodate all ages, sizes and skill levels. The main swimming area is 3’ - 8’ deep. There is a large 18” space for beginner students to learn in a safe space before venturing into deeper water. As students progress they move into the deeper areas. Extra-deep deep end for the older and more advanced students.

  • Endless Pools Fastlane Pro: State-of-the-Art Technology. This is a variable speed current generator installed in the 4’ area of the pool. It allows students to swim at any speed and not go anywhere. This technology allows swimmers to refine their strokes in ways not as easily noticeable through lap swimming.   • Privacy! No one to distract your children. No neighbors who can see into my backyard.

  • Students come to class at my house ready to learn. When I used to teach students in their backyard pools they saw me more as a friend coming over to play with them and as a result they didn’t learn as fast as they do in my backyard pool. This is their school for swimming so they come with the mindset for learning. They are ready when class starts!

  • Salt Water: Better for your skin and hair than chlorinated pool water.

  • Cleanest pool you’ll ever swim in. Top of the line cleaning system. Filter is cleaned twice per week. In floor cleaning system constantly cleans water. Pool is covered at night to help keep the water clean and warm. Strict pool use policies to keep water clean at all times.

  • Re-filled pool every other year. On even winters I completely drain the pool and re-fill it with fresh water. That keeps the amount of contaminants and chemicals in the water to a minimum. This also improves my ability to keep the water balanced and clean during the season.

  • Heated pool. My pool is heated to a reasonable temperature in the 80’s depending on the air temperature.

  • Easy to access location just off the 215 in Green Valley Ranch. Behind the Paseo Verde Library. Combine your swimming lessons trip with a visit to the library!

  • Best weather: Located in the valley we are protected from the south by mountains providing the best protection from high winds and cold temperatures found in the higher elevation and unprotected surrounding mountain communities. This results in less cancellations due to bad weather.

  • Shade! A variety of movable umbrellas in ground around and in the pool to provide shade throughout the day.

  • Plenty of parking in a safe, quiet neighborhood.

  • Enclosed sun room: Allows parents to sit inside, out of the elements, while still having an excellent vantage point to observe lessons with out students in class being able to see them. A dining room table in the sun room allows kids to do homework, play games or eat a snack while waiting. Keeps siblings from distracting my students.

  • Guest WiFi: Parents can work on their computers during lessons. Siblings can connect their tablets to watch videos or play games while waiting.

  • Landscaping by an award winning landscaping team. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and fresh air while you wait.

  • Quiet: Enjoy some peace and quiet while I teach your child/ren to swim. It’s your opportunity to enjoy a break!
